For crew, warehouse, project managers, and admins.

Launch Inventory Portal

Authorized RestoreWorks employees only.

What you can do

  • Check out and return tools to trucks, crews, and job sites.
  • Log material movements from WHSE / YARD / SHOP to trucks, crews, and jobs with job code and crew.
  • Scan QR / barcodes using your phone camera from Movements, Items, Tools, or the Scanner page.
  • See low-stock items before they stop a job.
  • View dashboards, tool holders, alerts, and audit “who has what”.

Quick how-to by role

Crew

  • Use Movements → Checkout when taking tools/materials from WHSE / YARD / SHOP to a truck, crew, or job.
  • Use Movements → Transfer when moving between TRK-1 / TRK-2 / TRK-3, crews, and job locations.
  • Use Movements → Return at the end of the shift back to WHSE / YARD / SHOP or a truck.
  • Use Movements → Adjust to flag missing, damaged, or found tools (see SOP below).
  • Scan QR or barcodes whenever tags are available.

Warehouse

  • Use Receive for deliveries into WHSE / YARD / SHOP (materials in, increase stock).
  • Monitor Dashboard → Low Stock and the Alerts page to restock before jobs are impacted.
  • Stage trucks and crews by using Checkout and Transfer with correct job code and crew.

Project Managers & Admin

  • Use Dashboard for overview: totals, low stock, and today’s movements.
  • Use Audit to see “who has what” with print / CSV export.
  • Use Alerts to review low stock and tools marked Missing/Repair.
  • Admins can manage Users and Locations directly in the app.

Tool Status: OK / Missing / Repair

This matches how the portal updates status in the Tools, Alerts, Dashboard, and Audit screens.

  1. Mark a tool as Missing
In the app, go to Movements:
    • Type: Adjust
    • Select the Tool (Tag)
    • Notes: include the word “missing” (e.g. “missing from JOB-MAPLE”)
    • Save
The tool status becomes Missing and shows on Tools, the Alerts → Missing / Repair Tools list, Dashboard snapshot, and the Audit report.
  2. Mark a tool as Repair
Use Adjust and include the word “repair” or “damaged” in Notes (e.g. “needs repair – guard broken”). Status becomes Repair.
  3. Mark a tool back to OK
Use Adjust and include “ok” or “found” in Notes (e.g. “found – tool ok again”). Status returns to OK.

Status is driven by the Adjust movement notes. The system looks for the keywords above and updates the tool automatically.

Best practices

  • Everything moves in the system. Any tool or material leaving or returning must be logged.
  • Use the right location codes. Examples: WHSE (Main Warehouse), YARD, SHOP, TRK-1, TRK-2, TRK-3, CREW-A/B/C, and job-specific locations created by Admin.
  • Scan when possible. Use QR/barcodes instead of typing whenever tags exist.
  • One movement = one action. Don’t combine multiple trucks or jobs into one record.
  • Always include job code and crew. That’s how usage is tracked per project.
  • Record check-outs, transfers, returns, and adjustments daily so dashboards, alerts, and audits stay correct.
  • Flag lost or damaged tools immediately in the portal (Adjust) and directly to your supervisor.
